700 Club Online Prayer Counseling

http://www.cbn.com/spirituallife/PrayerAndCounseling/index.aspx#OnlinePrayer

CBN Prayer Counselor: Thank you for contacting CBN. This is Hope. How may I help you?
Zach: hello hope
Zach: your name seems appropriate
Zach: i'm a muscian, and i've been watching several documentaries about the devil's influence in music
Zach: are th
ese things true?
Zach: hope, are you there?
CBN Prayer Counselor: What things are the documentaries saying? Satan is an opportunist and he will use anything that is open to him.
Zach: they talk about the lyrics and symbolism behind rock music, saying that they are used to recruit satan's army
Zach: and to get better at music, a musician might go to the crossroads and sell his soul in exchange for musical talent
Zach: do these things really work?
Zach: the beginning of route 66 begins in chicago, so a few years ago i actually went out and gave it a try
CBN Prayer Counselor: God is the Author of all good things. He gives us giftings and talents. John 10:10 The thiefs(Satan's) purpose is to steal, kill and destroy. My(God's) purpose is to give life in all its fullness.
Zach: i've noticed a great increase in the quality of the music i make, and have gained a lot of respect from other artist... is this the work of the devil, or is this just coincidence ?
CBN Prayer Counselor: Are you saying that you made a deal with the Devil so that you could become a better muscian?
Zach: yes, i did.
Zach: so far, it seems to be working. the documentaries are almost like a "how-to" guide
Zach: i've let other people know of these benefits, and have started a coven of other musicians to use this same strategy
Zach: seems like a good way to let you guys (the church) promote for us, since we are only giving you what you want
Zach: i've been playing several shows lately, and using the opportunity to perform, to influence the audience in participating in a form of the black mass
CBN Prayer Counselor: All may be well for now, but Satan is the opposite of God, and in the end will lead to eternal death and seperation from a loving Creator.
CBN Prayer Counselor: ALL ARE SEPARATED FROM GOD-Everyone who tries to live life his own way is separated from God (Rom. 3:23, Isaiah 53:6).
THE PENALTY FOR SEPARATION-We will be held accountable for the choices we make. If we choose to ignore God, we’ll face eternal separation from Him (Romans. 6:23, Heb. 9:27).
GOOD WORKS ARE NOT ENOUGH-Nothing we do, no matter how good it may be, can make us good enough to have a relationship with God without Jesus Christ (Titus 3:5, Eph. 2:8,9).
JESUS PAID THE PENALTY-God sent Jesus to be the bridge back to right standing with God. Christ’s death on the cross-paid the penalty we faced for going our own way (Rom. 5:8, 1 Peter 3:18).
MUST RECEIVE CHRIST-You must receive God’s gift by inviting Jesus into your life to be your Lord and Savior (John 1:12, Rev 3:20).
ASSURANCES OF SALVATION-Once you have done that, you can have absolute assurance that you have eternal life (1 John 5:13, John 5:24).
Zach: how do we know that either god or satan are real, and this isn't just a big joke?
Zach: right now, it just seems like a clever marketing tool
CBN Prayer Counselor: Experience....after having faith
Zach: faith is believing in something that cannot be proven
Zach: have you met the devil before?
Zach: if i'm an extreme masochist, wouldn't hell be heaven to me?
Zach: i'm trying to branch my network out, and get more people involved... collectively, we have the ability to share our occult themed music to around a thousand people
CBN Prayer Counselor: This web chat is primarily for prayer and ministry. If you do not need prayer or ministry, then I will have to let you go.
Zach: do i need a prayer?
Zach: i'm just asking questions and wondering what your viewpoint on this is
Zach: i've rescently became a youth pastor
CBN Prayer Counselor: John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
Zach: so this is my 'ministry'
Zach: aren't we all 'children of god'?
Zach: i'd like a better understanding, if you'd be willing to provide some better information, and talk to me like a person rather than spurting off bible verses at me
Zach: we're both people here, let's chat like people
Zach: have you ever not been christian?
CBN Prayer Center: Agent has left the conversation
